Mel is an award winning Wisconsin author and regular contributor to The HuffPost. Her essays have been published in Wisconsin Trails, Fetch, and Rosebud Literary Magazine. She’s a frequent essayist for Milwaukee Public Radio and a storyteller for The Moth. She was a member of the 2014 Listen To Your Mother cast reading her essay about her mother's love for Brett Favre and will be included in the final LTYM cast production this May.
